Workshop Details

Workshops span two to four days, depending on the topic, and are designed to provide hands-on, immersive learning experiences. Most sessions take place in the field, offering participants the opportunity to explore real-world environments while engaging in light to moderate hiking over uneven terrain in variable weather conditions. For those with special needs, we encourage you to contact us in advance to discuss how we might support your participation. Some workshops also include classroom sessions where students familiarize themselves with essential terminology and botanical keys, building a strong foundation for fieldwork. Participants will receive a certificate of completion to showcase their achievements. Additionally, our Wetland Flora Workshops contribute toward meeting the requirements for "Professional Wetland Scientist" certification, as recognized by the Society of Wetland Scientists.

Lodging

Participants are responsible for making reservations and paying for their own lodging. After registering for a course, you will receive an informational letter with more details about food and lodging, as well as other aspects of the course.
